Mission Statement The NSB Branch of AAUW promotes and supports equity, education and self-development for positive societal change.
Goals
Increase community awareness of AAUW. Recruit, serve and support the membership. Award scholarships to local students to advance their education and careers. Support the goals and objectives of the National Organization. Help in solving one problem that faces our community in the millennium through effective programs and useful activities.
Membership Membership in the NSB Branch is open to any man or woman holding a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university. Individuals not having a degree, who support the mission and goals of the Branch, are eligible to belong as Friends of New Smyrna Beach Branch. Undergraduates enrolled in an accredited two or four-year institution in the local area may become Student Affiliates. Contact Noreen Stuart, membership chairman stext184@aol.com

Branch Anniversary--20 Years In 1982 the NSB Branch of AAUW was formed by Helen Abbott and Irene Etter with 56 charter members. Since then the organization has grown in number and has been recognized for its significant contribution to the community.
